The National Centre for Economic Management and Administration is the main training and research institution serving the Nigerian public sector in national economic management and thus has a critical role to play in capacity building issues in the country. It is in this context that, the ACBF Executive Board approved a grant of $900, 000 to support NCEMA’s programs under a NCEMA Phase I and $997,940 for Phase II. To enable NCEMA to build further its niche and credibility, and to continue making significant progress in its performance towards impact, the ACBF Executive Board approved a thirdgrant of US$700,000for NCEMA phase III.
The overall objective of the NCEMA III project was to consolidate capacity building in the Nigerian public sector in development policy and economic management through consolidation of achievements recorded under the previous two phases of the NCEMA ACBF supported projects.
