At its 32nd Regular Meeting, in December 2004, the Executive Board approved a grant of US$ 1.580 million to the Government of Namibia for assistance in strengthening its public service delivery capacity.
The goal of the project was to reposition the public service for the challenges of Namibia’s Vision 2030 so as to align government offices, ministries and agencies’ mandate and performance standards with Namibia’s economic growth, poverty reduction, human development, equity and public service revitalization and reform aspirations.
