Professionalisation of the Voices of the Private Sector & Civil Society

The Projet de Renforcement des Capacites des Structures d’Encadrement, de Promotion du Sectuer Prive et des Organisations Feminines de la Societe Civile, Republique Democratique du Congo (CASPOF) was identified, developed and appraised in order to build institutional and human capacity of Congolese women organizations to enable them to interface with the public sector on the formulation, implementation and monitoring of poverty reduction strategies, programs and projects.   It was also identified, developed and appraised to build this institutional and human capacity of private sector organizations to dialogue among themselves, between them and women organizations of the civil society and between them and the public sector on poverty reduction strategies, programs and project formulation, implementation, monitoring and evaluation. 

The goal of CASPOF Project was to improve economic and social governance in the DRC through the establishment of an interface between the public sector and the private sector and women organizations of the civil society in the process of economic and social policy formulation, implementation and management. the DRC-INTERFACE Project included three immediate objectives: (i) to establish a formal platform of consultation and dialogue on economic and social policy between the public sector on one side and the private sector and women organizations of the civil society on the other side; (ii) to build/strengthen the institutional and human capacity of private sector organizations and networks of women organizations; and (iii) to interface the public sector, the private sector and women organizations of the civil society
